Meet Dr. Parker
Dr. Lorraine Parker received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1979. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic from the New York Chiropractic College in 1983. Since then, Dr. Parker has maintained a private chiropractic practice in Westchester County, NY.
As a master in the field of chiropractic care, Dr. Parker is devoted to the health and well-being of her patients.
It is my goal to teach people to recognize the stresses that affect our bodies and to make changes, “Living for a change”
Alignment and movement are the focus of Dr. Parker’s chiropractic treatments. Gentle stretching and muscle work (myofascial therapy) allow for increased range of motion and flexibility. Movement is the difference between feeling young and feeling old.
Stiff, achy, and tight have become the hallmark words in our lives. Sitting for hours at a computer or having our heads down looking at our phones has enormously contributed to these symptoms.
What I like most about being in my own practice is that it gives me the ability to help patients achieve their personal goals. I am not mandated by an outside group of people that do not know my patients.
During her free time, Dr. Parker enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family. She also enjoys spending time gardening, playing pickleball, and practicing yoga and pilates.
